Creative Youth Lab

This programme invites imagination and socializing through digital art projects. Join Artist, Sean Rees every Thursday from 4:00 - 5:30 at The Orillia Youth Centre. The class is free and equipment is provided!

Arts Orillia's Co-op Program

Are you interested in performing, producing, programming or designing? Experience Arts Orillia’s co-op program where students learn about the creative process, performance, arts administration, box office duties, backstage technical training and more. Our organization offers creatively-minded Youth the career-building experience they need to excel in the professional Arts.

Global Steps

Global Steps teaches students about people, places and culture through dance. A professional dance artist visits the classroom to perform and give a movement lesson. A comprehensive slide deck is offered to teachers and students for all Global Steps workshops giving an overview of the social and historical context for the cultural area students will learn about.

Inventing Utopia

This in-classroom workshop explores creativity and leadership through games, writing, improvisation, and more. Students are engaged with professional theatre and literary artists to imagine and create the world they want to live in.

Water Monument

An in-school workshop for environmentalists and art appreciators! This workshop discusses water care through local issues, Indigenous cultural perspectives, creative practice, and community service. Students will create, edit, and collaboratively share their work. Participants are allowed to design, discuss and imagine a better planet together.
