Kaitlyn Elise

Kaitlyn Elise is an aerialist specialising in flying pole and spiral. She is a passionate teacher and owner of an aerial arts studio and performance company located in Huntsville, Ontario. Kaitlyn uses flow based improvisation to dissolve the rigid boundaries between conventional dance and aerial arts. She describes her work as a chase for true expression, and hopes to express something authentic, meaningful, and poignant.

Jillian Peever

In 2021 Jillian Peever founded the not-for-profit organization, The SPACE Upstairs which makes contemporary dance more accessible and relatable in rural Ontario. Her artistic development began with six cumulative years of professional training at major dance institutions, plus additional meaningful intensive workshops in Toronto, Montreal, New York, and Austria. She has performed, collaborated, and taught at a professional level, in Calgary, Princeton, and Morocco. Since moving to Burk’s Falls she has choreographed, collaborated, and performed for and with The Huntsville Festival of the Arts on multiple projects, The Mag River Nature Hub, the Town of Huntsville, and local public schools.

John MacDonald

John MacDonald is an industry veteran production designer with over fifty years experience working with such iconic brands as Disney, Universal Studios, Cirque du Soleil and Paramount.  John is a certified rigger and production electrician with over 150 live event credits under his belt.

David Laidlaw

David Laidlaw is a multidisciplinary sound artist whose work explores the meeting point of movement, listening, and the living world. Combining live electronics, field recordings, resonant instruments, and improvisation, he creates immersive sound environments that evolve in dialogue with performers, inviting audiences into experiences of presence, curiosity, and connection.
